First Pigtails, First Fair!!!

I had so much fun this weekend! Saturday we just hung out at home and watched football. Go Auburn!! They won and are now 3-0!! I also gave Ella her first pigtails! She has gotten a lot of hair in the back and not so much on top and on the sides. I was rocking her to sleep on Thursday for her nap and was playing with her hair and it hit me THERE IS JUST ENOUGH HAIR FOR PIGTAILS!! I know, I know but I just couldn't help it so on Saturday I did it. It was not easy dont get me worng but they are just soo cute. I had to bribe her with the WHOLE bag of goldfish. I didn't let her eat them all but for some reason it is more of a treat and soo much better if she gets to dig through the bag and pick out the ONE she wants to eat. Then on Sunday I took her to the fair. She had soo much fun. They had two rides that she was tall emough to ride all by herself. She looked like such a big girl and she wasn't scared at all. Then there was a monkey named Bobo who of course she called Kitty because that is what she calls every animal. She wanted to hug him but I did let her give he a quarter and a dollar because of course he doesnt take small change, and she had her picture taken with him. It was so cute she had her arm around him and he had his hand on her leg. I know she loved him and wanted to take him home with us. I pretty much had to drag her away from his tent. Then we went to her Uncle Brian and Tia Farah's for his birthday. She got to see all of her cousins and ran around all over outside. She had fun and I couldnt keep her awake on the way home. She does seem to be coming down with something I am just praying it is a cold and not the flu. I guess that is about all for our weekend!! My First Blog!!

So I have decided to start a blog after contemplating it for about six months. I think it will be a great way for my family that doesn't live so close to keep up with our lives. I usually have to many things on my plate and forget to call until it is to late so hopefully this will make up for my forgetfulness. I just hope I don't forget this!! This week has been so busy and long. Ella is not sleeping well at night. I know she is just teething but I feel so bad for her. Work has been so stressful and I also volunteered to be the team captain for out team for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure on October 10th, which is a good cause since my Mother in Law just had her last chemo treatment for breast Cancer but it has kept me busy and I still have a lot to do. I went and cooked her dinner last night and let Ella and Terry visit with her. I also am helping my sister in law with her house warming party next TTuesday. Last weekend I took my sister to help her register for her baby boy coming in January. I am so excited for him to be her. I seen to have booked up all of our weekends in October but I have some fun stuff planned for us, one of which we are going to visit my Dad, Brandy and Peyton!! I am soo excited!! Hopefully I wont be so busy I cant keep everybody updated and add some photos!! Wish me luck!!
